TOUR DESCRIPTION:
Driving North Pan-American highway 184 km, 3 hours from Lima, on the right side of the river SUPE, in the province of Barranca, is placed the archeological complex of CARAL, the first civilization of America and the third oldest civilization in the world, which was developed 5000 years ago, its antiquity is compared with that of Mesopotamia and Egypt only 200 years of time difference.
On the way, we will stop in the valley of Chancay to enjoy a typical breakfast with chicharrones, (pork meat sandwich) tamales and local hotdogs huachana (Not included). We continue the trip until arriving at Caral.
The Sacred City of Caral, is made up of 32 public structures and many residential and peripheral areas, among its buildings visited; The Temple of the Amphitheater, The Temple of the Circular Altar, The Central Plaza, The Greater Pyramid, The Pyramid of the Gallery, La Huanca, its residential centers, etc.
