TOUR DESCRIPTION:

We will head to the historic center of Lima, former capital of the Viceroyalty of America, declared World Heritage.

We will begin our visit in the Plaza San Martin, highlighted by its beautiful neo colonial buildings.

Walk through the old street of vendors (the Union Street), visit the Lady of Mercy Church and its imposing baroque façade; here we will see the development of a daily Mass Service for 5 minutes.

Continues our walk through the old silversmith street, the house of the Mulatto Painter Pancho Fierro, the Torre Tagle Palace, the Church of Saint Peter and its beautiful altars in gold leaf.

Plaza Mayor, here you will see the change of Guard in the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima built over remains of Ica Temple, entrance to the Monastery of St. Dominic and The Aliaga House, A beautiful mansion from the 16th century, considered the oldest in America, owned by the Count of Lurigancho.  A stop at The Pisco Museum, to enjoy our "Pisco Sour" cocktail, finally The Catacombs of St. Francis and return to Miraflores.
