TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Pick up from the hotel, taking the green coast highway, we head towards the viewpoint of Chorrillos, from where we will have a spectacular view of the whole green coast, its beautiful cliffs and beaches, then we will appreciate the show of The Friar. On your way to the south of Lima, you will pass by natural wetlands, where you will appreciate abundant migratory and endemic birds; you will also know the history of Shanty Towns, where more than 60 percent of Lima's population lives.

After a journey of more than 30 km to the south, we will arrive at the ceremonial center of Pachacamac, place of worship to the god creator "the great Pachacamac", located to the right side of the river Lurín and facing the sea and the islands.

 Museum of Pachacamac, walk through the  Pre-Hispanic farm field and water  channels, The House of the Acllas,  where girls from royal families were educated and coached to be offered to the Sun and to be concubines of the Inca. The palace of the Inca chief Taulichusco, the painted Temple of Pachacamac, where the sacred chamber of the idol was, the old temple, the cemetery Max Uhle, the pyramids with ramp that served as palaces or headquarters of the priests and finally The Sun Temple, point of ceremonies and worship of the sun´s God. Return to Miraflores.
